Device Overview

The MikroTik NetMetal 5 is a rugged outdoor device housed in a sealed metal enclosure designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and reduce RF interference.

With two or three RP-SMA connectors, it is paired with external high-gain dish antennas for long-distance point-to-point links or sector antennas for point-to-multipoint base stations.

It includes an SFP cage for direct optical fiber runs up towers, isolating the radio from ground loops and lightning transients on long copper runs.
