Device Overview

The Huawei EchoLife HG8145V5 is a routing-type GPON Optical Network Terminal (ONT) featuring 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 POTS telephone port, and dual-band AC Wi-Fi.

It is standard issue for many fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) operators worldwide, terminating the passive optical fiber line directly inside the subscriber residence.

Technicians frequently switch the HG8145V5 into Bridge WAN mode when commercial customers or gamers prefer using their own high-end routers.
