Device Overview

The ZTE ZXHN F670L is a dual-band AC1200 GPON gateway equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet ports and external high-gain antennas.

It is widely deployed across ISP networks for triple-play services (voice, internet, and IPTV multicast).

Technicians can configure port isolation, multiple SSIDs with VLAN mappings, and transparent Layer-2 bridge pass-through.

Default IP Address 192.168.1.1

How to Connect (Physical & Network Setup)

Connect the SC/APC fiber drop to the PON port. Connect PC via Ethernet cable to LAN1. Set PC to Obtain an IP address automatically (192.168.1.x).

Step-by-Step Configuration Steps

1 Open web browser and visit http://192.168.1.1.
2 Log in with 'admin' / 'admin' (or carrier credentials like 'user' / 'user').
3 Navigate to Network > WAN > WAN Connection.
4 Create a new connection: Connection Name 'Internet', Mode 'Route' (or 'Bridge'), Link Type 'IP' or 'PPP'.
5 Enter ISP VLAN ID and 802.1p priority tag if mandated by your network.
6 Navigate to Network > WLAN > SSID Settings to configure Wi-Fi network names and security keys.
7 Click Save / Apply and reboot the terminal.

Verification Step

Check Status > Network Interface > PON Status to verify Optical Rx Power (acceptable range: -12 dBm to -27 dBm).

Firmware Note: ZTE GPON ONT firmware. Default IPs on some carrier batches may be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.254.
